Congratulations to COSAS Member and Professor of Anthropology, Alan Kolata, on his recently launched website that focuses on the human response to environmental change in Cambodia. Professor Kolata and his team are researching how the Mekong River-Tonle Sap flood pulse system has been changing and its resulting effects on the behavior and movement of human populations. Their research focuses on migration from rural agricultural villages to cities, how people become urban, and the implications of these demographic changes for sustainable development. To learn more about their projects and research, please visit the website here.
