Trevor Price has been researching the biodiversity of India since 1972. His main interests are on the distributions of birds and trees, both in the Himalaya and in south India, and their conservation. His forthcoming textbook, Ecology of the Changed World (Oxford University Press) describes the science behind the biodiversity crisis.
