Whither Tamil Research? A Workshop in Honor of E. Annamalai
This workshop brings together students and scholars of Tamil who trained at the University of Chicago with E. Annamalai, along with E. Annamalai himself, to discuss the state of Tamil studies, and to ask where Tamil research is going (and could or should go). Participants include E. Annamalai (University of Chicago, emeritus), Janani Comar (University of Toronto), Whitney Cox (University of Chicago), Jackson Cyril (University of Chicago), Victor D’Avella (Oxford University), Dennis McGilvray (University of Colorado – Boulder), Jesse Pruitt (University of Toronto), Krissy Roghann (University of Toronto), Martha Selby (Harvard University), Margherita Trento (EHESS, Paris).
