For students and faculty interested in contemporary politics in South Asia, Professor Paul Staniland will moderate a brown bag lunch to discuss the many events of 2024 and their implications: elections in India and Pakistan, Myanmar’s fast-escalating civil war, the protests and change of government in Bangladesh, and Nepal’s new government, as well as the foreign policies of the U.S., China, and India in the region. Please bring your insights and questions. Lunch will be provided.
